Story behind 'Infinite Journeys'

“Infinite Journeys” was inspired by the Aboriginal countries I have been fortunate to have crossed, from the ocean to the bush to the ocean and back again. The piece utilises nature's elements to convey messages on empowerment and inspiration. 

The water, with its ceaseless motion, embodies change and transformation, reminding us of life's fluidity and adaptability. It glistens and ripples, inviting us to embrace the ever-shifting tides of existence.

The land beneath our feet, with its ancient roots, evokes a sense of belonging and connection. Each step we take is a continuation of a journey trodden by others before us, and a prelude to those who will follow. It stands as a testament to the enduring thread that binds us through time.

Amidst this landscape, the towering trees symbolise growth, not just in the natural world, but within ourselves. They reach skyward, a testament to our personal aspirations and unwavering pursuit of purpose. Their leaves rustle in the wind, whispering secrets of resilience and potential.

As the sun graces the horizon with its radiant ascent, it heralds new beginnings. Each day a fresh start, offering us an opportunity for renewal and rebirth. And as day turns to dusk, the sunset provides a moment of pause and reflection. It invites us to look inward, to contemplate our journey thus far, and extract insight from the day's encounters.
