In the Moment - fine art print
The story behind 'In the Moment'
Sarah says: ‘In the moment’ is inspired by Vivian Greene’s quote, “Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning how to dance in the rain.”
When I was in my late teens and very early 20s, I would always be finding something in the future to look forward to. Then I’d find that something would happen and I go from super happy to super down when it was over and then the process to find something else to look forward to would begin. I know this story is not unfamiliar, and the way I overcame this unhealthy mindset was to turn my attention to the present - to be in the moment. I’m not saying not to look forward to something, but to enjoy the journey to your destination.
