“Paths of Potential” celebrates the profound impact that mentors, educators, and loved ones have in nurturing a person’s journey at every stage of life. At its heart, an abstract hand symbolises the supportive presence that guides and uplifts, fostering a sense of safety and belonging. Surrounding the hand, four trees in various stages of growth represent the unfolding potential within each of us, showing that everyone’s journey is unique yet bound together by the care and guidance we receive along the way.
This piece holds personal meaning for me. I’m grateful for my family, educators, and mentors who have supported me, helping me to recognise my own strengths, navigate challenges, and grow. Their encouragement has shaped my path and reminded me of what’s possible when we feel supported.

The icons around the hand represent the individuality of each person, while the interwoven lines signify a commitment to support and empower us to explore, grow, and embrace our potential. Encircling these elements is a path with footprints, offering the choice to go left or right—symbolising that there is more than one way to achieve our potential and that the journey of self-discovery is ongoing. Hands in each corner represent the constant presence of those who guide us. Each step along the path is a testament to the transformative impact of encouragement and care, showing that with the right support, anyone can reach their full potential.

Using the high-quality image generated in the previous step, Marrawuy Journeys images are printed locally in Canberra on Canson Platine Fibre Rag 310gsm archival paper using pigment inks. 

 Each Marrawuy Journeys fine art print comes with the story behind the original artwork and instructions for caring for your print.

Limited edition prints are personally signed by the artist and editioned accordingly.
