The story behind 'Uniqueness'

Sarah says: I have always been fascinated by the platypus, you don’t see them very often, from what I can recall I’ve only seen one in its natural habitat. When I think of the platypus I think it is a very unique and solitary creature, something I can somewhat relate to because whilst I enjoy socialising I very much like being by myself. Often this time is spent painting or reflecting. So when someone views this painting I hope it reminds them to take some time to reflect and learn from past experiences and perhaps identify what makes them unique and embrace.

About Marrawuy Journeys' Fine Art Print Process

Marrawuy Journeys' process of creating high-quality fine art prints begins with the original artwork being scanned, not photographed. Marrawuy Journeys' scanned artworks are ~139 megapixels, creating exception resolution.

Using the high-quality image generated in the previous step, Marrawuy Journeys images are printed locally in Canberra on Canson Platine Fibre Rag 310gsm archival paper using pigment inks.

Each Marrawuy Journeys fine art print comes with the story behind the original artwork and instructions for caring for your print.

Limited edition prints are personally signed by the artist and editioned accordingly.
